Single File

Offers of walks were very thin on the ground this time. If you have a walk, why not get someone to pre walk it with you. There will always be help given on the actual walk if you have not led a walk before. Walk leaders can receive £5 for their trouble from group coffers as we collect £1 from walkers.

COMMITTEE MEETING

The next Single File committee meeting is on Wednesday 23rd July 2008, please can anyone volunteering to lead a walk, provide the details before this date.

WALK START TIMES

We aim to leave for our walks promptly at 11am (unless otherwise stated), so can you please be there for around 10.45 am.  The later we leave, the later we get to the pub and the more difficult it is to find a seat………………………

RESPONSIBILITY

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind you to take responsibility for your own safety whilst out and about as the group cannot be held liable for accidents or loss.

FUTURE PROGRAMMES

We really welcome suggestions from everyone in the group, so if you are familiar with the footpaths near you, please share your walks with us.  If you feel unsure of your map-reading skills, there will always be someone on the walk to back you up, so don’t be shy – let’s have your suggestions.
